TheWaitWasSoWorthIt:LetsTalkAboutMyFavorite GroupO'Vamps

First of all, Thank you Alan Ball.

I was a little worried going into the premiere of TrueBlood last night.  Not because I lost any amount of love for the show, but just because I felt that last season was a little slow.

And then last night happened, and shit got real.

Now, I clearly see that we needed that last season to help plant the roots for what I can already tell is going to be the most ridiculous, amazing, dark, intelligent, and sexual season yet.

Here's my Top Five Favorite Moments from last night's premiere.

1) I love the new dynamic with the evil fairies vs good.  It reminded me of Maryanne circa Season 2 craziness.  Can't wait to see how that play's out.  Personally, I think Sookie's going to end up being some sort of SUPER fairy.  When she blasted Mab, the H.F.B.I.C, Mab look bewildered, as if she had never seen abilities that strong with someone so new to her world.

2) I Thought it was incredible to have the fairy world's conception of time be so different from that of reality. Even though I loved last season, it still was a little stale for me.  I thought that this brought the show back to its full potential, freshness, and originality.  So much happened, I'm having serious issues trying to pick just five moments.

3) The fact that, because we the viewers have yet to know what truly went down in the past year in Bon Temps, a heir of mystery is making me need to know what the hell is going on.  I have questions people.    Bill is the Vampire King of Louisiana? He's also a politician? Sam really shot Tommy? Sookie is Eric's? Tara's on the run and eating the fur burger? Vampa Say WHATTTT?

4) Andy Bellefleur, and his apparent V problem.  "YOU OWE ME A PLAQUE" and "Oh, I'm sorry...I must have got my drag queen's mixed up" made me schnitzel myself.

5) And Finally, my favorite part of the first episode back, was Ms. Fiona Shaw as the leader of the witch coven Marni.  Her performance, first of all, was flawless.  Creepy, intense, perfect.  The part where she forces Lafyette to join in the circle to attempt to resurrect her pet familiar Minerva (Minerva Mcgonagall? Aunt Petunia is that you?) was my favorite scene hands down.  Lafyette's a witch yo.

Overall, I literally loved every part about last night's ep.  It was just, everything and more.  I'm about to watch the second episode on HBOGO, but I won't post a review on that until next monday so I don't ruin anything for those who are going to wait.
