From now until July 10th, you can still catch the Marc Chagall exhibit at the Philadelphia Art Museum, if you have yet to do so. I haven't gone yet, but I'm planing a pilgrimage to the PAM in order to see this exhibit but also to see what else they've got going on. They usually have at least 3 or 4 solid exhibitions going on simultaneously, so the trip there and the few bucks to get in are worth it in spades.
This particular Chagall exhibit focuses around his time in Paris during the early twentieth century. Not only does it showcase his works during that period, but also the works of his inner circle of colleagues. People such as Alexander Archipenko, Moïse Kisling, Moïse Kogan, Jacques Lipchitz, Louis Marcoussis, Amedeo Modigliani, Chana Orloff, Jules Pascin, Chaim Soutine, and Ossip Zadkine are all featured, while Chagall's story is thread throughout as the undertone to the entire show.
PS: I selected the picture above because, besides being in the actual exhibit, its entitled Purim, so it's also there to honor to upcoming Jewish holidays. L'Chaim, King A-hash-oh-air-us.
