Here's your first look at Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman for NBC's new series of the same name.
I gotta say, I think its more then mildly disappointing that she's wearing pants. Plus, I don't know if I'm seeing it strangely, but does the part of her leg/thigh/ass that you see through the lasso look oddly vertical or something? I can't place me finger on it. I'm gonna assume that she's just in an awkward stance, and hold judgement until I see more publicity stills, which lets face it, will probably be coming at us in bundles in order for the marketing team for WW to catch the fanboys attention. From the waist up everything looks bueno. I really have no clue how the show will do; It's not your typical comic book archetype, meaning it's a show with the lead role being a female, yet in a genre mostly dominated by adolescent males. This show either needs to go to route of being extremely girly and probably not too great, strictly in order to catch a young female audience, or, she can lose the pants, slip into a skirt or some sort of super heroin underwear type of deal, and hope like hell the boys tune in.
