Finally yo.
At last, the trailer for the new Spider Man movie, The Amazing Spider Man, has finally hit the interweb.
It actually looks really good, at least from what I can see so far.
The casting in this movie alone is ridonk. The guy playing Spidey is named Andrew Garfield, who many of you will know as Eduardo from The Social Network. He's a british actor, but a damn good one at that, so I have the upmost confidence that he will pull it off with flying colors.
The supporting cast includes Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Martin Sheen and Sally Field as Ben and May Parker, Dennis Leary as George Stacy, and finally.....
Rhys Ifans as The Lizard, who is the main villain of the film. Ifans played Xenophilius Lovegood in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Uno, and did quite a bang up job, so I'm more then excited to see him in another blockbuster role. Oddly enough, Steve Kloves, the screenwriter for 7 out of the 8 HP films, is also a writer on this movie too.
Oh Hollywood, you small, small world. The movie comes out July 3rd, 2012.
